bluejava started building web-based business applications for clients from our Japan location in 2002. We began by forming a small core team composed of the best people we could find with clear track records of success. We then selected the best technologies available, based both on our collective experiences and from exhaustive research. And finally, we incorporated a set of optimized methodologies composed of best-practices, emerging patterns, and "tried and true" business processes.
Using these technologies and processes enabled us to build several successful solutions for our early clients. But we wanted to create even better solutions, faster, with more affordable prices for our clients.
So we set out to improve upon every aspect of software development that we could.
One focus in this endeavor, was the development platform. We had worked in most of the leading web development technologies available, and found them all to be lacking. Most were simply too "general purpose" and did little or nothing to address the specific needs of the business web.
